Mint Explanation Video
We set out to create a very different launch with Divine Dogs with no WL and a fair public mint (Thanks to Strata Protocol). We created this video for all users to have a better understanding of what we were trying to accomplish and how each mint phase would work on mint day.
We minted Divine Dogs four different ways:
Presale Pups (20 NFTs 2 weeks before public 1 SOL)
OGs (520 OGs 130 NFTs 1 SOL)
$DUST (Public 33 NFTs for 33 $DUST)
Dynamic Public Mint (Strata Protocol 3.33-1 SOL)
Presale Pups
The first sale of Divine Dogs we had was our "Presale Pups".
Our presale pups were 20 early minting spots, 15 by applications and 5 by community events that minted two weeks before OG/Public. These pups acted as testers for our staking platform and were able to mint for 1 SOL and earn staking rewards early for that two week time frame.
OG mint
On public mint day OGs were the first to have a opportunity to mint. However we had it clear for a very long time, OGs were not a guaranteed mint.
There was a total of 520 OGs with 130 NFTs available or a 25% chance of minting at 1 SOL.
The OG advantage compared to public was a better supply ratio and the lowest possible price for a Divine Dog at 1 SOL.
$DUST Mint
For our $DUST mint we gave a salute to DeGods. As project founders, we have been DeGods holders since mint and it's how we got to know each other.
We had a FCFS public mint of 33 NFTs for 33 $DUST in between our OG mint and Dynamic mint
Dynamic Public Mint: Strata Protocol
Divine Dogs were the first to use Strata Protocol for our public mint and we could not be more proud of that fact.
Our dynamic mint started at 3.33 SOL and had the possibility to drop all the way to 1 SOL. This mint was much like a Dutch auction however 3.33 was not the ceiling but the starting price; meaning if there was a spam of buying at 3.33 the price would increase incrementally for each buy, becoming extremely bot deterrent.
The public mint was an incredible experience and very well-received. That helped us display a mentality that we are not afraid to try new things and be unique in the space that will carry over into Divine Dogs entirely.
